Public Health is unique in its spanning across institutions, from governments to non-profits to startups. All offer something different in addressing and solving public health issues. But how do we foster and grow these complex partnerships across industries?

Join us in a unique two part conversation. First Maria Thacker Goethe, MPH, CEO of the Center for Global Health Innovation and President and CEO of Georgia Bio will be in conversation with Alexa Morse, MPH, Director of Commercialization Programming at the University City Science Center about the broad implications of public/private partnerships. After, Maria will discuss specific examples with the Executive Director of the Global Health Crisis Coordination Center, Ken Berta. This is part of the Public Health + series, which examines innovative places where public health intersects with other disciplines.

About the Public Health+ Series

Public health touches nearly every aspect of our world, as is becoming clearer every day. This series of conversations was conceived to examine the space where public health intersects with other disciplines. Our goal is to highlight those at this intersection, discuss their work and broaden our thinking. This series is led by the Career Development Committee of the Rollins School of Public Health Alumni Association Board in collaboration with Orange Sparkle Ball.
