Rollins Innovation Summit

August 16-27, 2021

Do you have a challenge or idea within your organization that is linked to health or well-being, but no one available with the training to innovate and launch a solution?

You could be the one to implement the solution with the added support of Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. This August 16-27, join 15 industry and 5 non-profit leaders and 10 Rollins graduate students at the inaugural Rollins Innovation Summit at Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. During this two-week program, industry participants will learn the principles of public health and how to solve real-world problems with public health innovation, based on human-centered design. They will then partner with Rollins graduate students to develop a pilot plan specific to a pain point within their organization – meaning this is not just a professional development opportunity, but also a true working session where they leave with an actionable deliverable

Who should attend?

The ideal participant works in areas such as health and safety, facilities, employee health and benefits programming (child/family, mental health), product development, food safety, economic and/or community development, environmental impact or COVID recovery and is actively engaged in the work. It’s a professional development opportunity, with additional focus on deliverable creation. It also builds an ongoing point of connection with Rollins . Participants will leave the Summit with a pilot plan ready to present to leadership, as well as tools used to monitor pilot progress and report results.

The Rollins Innovation Summit is brought to you through the collaboration of Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, innovation and impact consultancy Orange Sparkle Ball, and health informatics firm, Double Lantern Informatics, and will be held at Emory’s Innovation Center, The Hatchery.
