Sunbelt 2024: Networks and Resilience

Social network analysis has found important applications in organizational behavior, inter-organizational relations, the spread of contagious diseases, mental health, social support, the diffusion of information and animal social organization. Today it has become an international effort with its own professional organizations, textbooks, journals, research centers, training centers and computer programs designed specifically to facilitate the analysis of structural data.

Teri Garstka will be presenting alongside OSB team members Jasmine Fernandez, Michaela Bonnett, and Meaghan Kennedy at the 2024 Sunbelt Conference focused on the relationship between emergent network structures and community-level outcomes (e.g., physical health, socio-economic well-being, clinical care, environmental vitality). They will discuss findings from these analyses and implications for optimizing community-led care networks to help drive outcomes at the population level.
